Here is how you create an email address, username, and password for your ChitChat messenger account. 

1. Choose "Sign Up" on the bottom right of the screen  

2. Follow our messenger’s simple instructions to set up your username and password  

Creating Your Account

ChitChat offers several settings you can personalize. Here are different settings that you can adjust to enhance your messaging experience to your liking.

Choose the blue figure icon in the top right corner of the screen 

2. Select an image from your photo gallery

1. Select "Settings" and then “Choose Theme” 


Getting Started

Profile Settings 

To message people that you know, you first need to add them as “friends”. Here is how you add friends and accept friend requests 

1. Choose the white figure icon at the top of the screen 

2. Search for friends on the app in the search bar above (by name or username) 
3. Connect with friends by selecting “Add Friend” 

When a red notification number appears atop the white figure icon at the top of your screen, this means you have a friend request. 

1. Select this icon to manage your request. 

Select the “Added Me” tab at the top of the screen to view your friend requests 

Select the user you would like to review. Then, add or decline the request. 

Navigate to the friend's profile by selecting "view profile"

Choose the three dots "..." at the top right of the screen

Select the option that you would like to go into effect
